STEPHEN AND SHANTA RAWATE

Capable, efficient, and hard-working, the Rawates are key leaders in India. Stephen is the director of AIDA (The Association of International Discipleship Advancement) and is also is the Coordinator of Schools of Evangelism in Asia. In addition, he and Shanta are the directors of ER's SOE in Uttarakhand. Both are ordained ministers in the Church of North India. Shanta's work in producing publications, coordinating travel arrangements, and organizing Women's Conferences is vital. The Rawates' love for Christ and passion for evangelism are an inspiration to the many other Indian leaders with whom they network.

Stephen and Shanta have two children, Adit and Udita. Adit (on the right) has completed his training to become a licensed pilot, and Udita was married in 2011 to Sachin. This photo is from their wedding. Both Udita and Sachin are in the medical profession, Udita as a nurse. Their first child, son Adam, was born in 2012.
